I offer the most cost effective FCP training in the state of Minnesota, my husband and wife deals are unbeatable.

Classes usually 4-5 hours

Important information regarding our classes please read all of this:

Range Fees: typically run from $10.00 to $20.00. Minnesota requires that each student perform a "live fire" exercise as part of this course. Range fees are controlled by the range, not me. Not every class requires a range fee, it just depends on the class and where we shoot. That being said, please be prepared to to pay a range fee when you attend class.


For those classes that use Bill's Gun Shop and Range in Robinsdale, we will start shooting at the range at the listed time on the class schedule (usually 2:15). Please come a little early if possible to take care of paper work, but try to not be late, call if you are going to be late. If we do not hear from you, we will leave and head to the classroom location in Bloomington. If you are late, the whole class is late because of you! I am usually there at least an hour before the class to answer questions and help you. If something happens and you cannot make the shoot and you can still make the class, we can shoot the next week just call. Below is the contact info.

When classes are held at Waconia we may use Shady Lanes or Goose Lake for the qualification to keep it local, as noted also Bills Gun Shop and Range.

• So that we can respectful of everyone's time, please arrive to class on time. Check our class schedule page the night before class to verify the location.

• Please print the map from the Directions page for your class location, Mapquest, Google and GPS don't always work well for some of the locations we use.
  
• Shooting qualification will be up to 30 shots (15 @ 15 feet and 15 @ 21 feet) at a body size target. Bring new Factory ammo, NO Reloads! except at Bills Gun Shop and Range they allow it. You may be thinking, I make good ammo, but are you sure about the guy next you and his skills as a reloader if I let you, I have to let him. What if their gun blows up?
  
• Bring eye and ear protection or Bills has protection for you to use. (Wall-Mart has foam plugs and clear glasses real cheap) its good to have your own for health reasons (Lice?).

I do everything I can to keep the cost of this course down and pass it on to you. I am highly trained, especially in defensive shooting, and have a lot to pass on to you. Thank you for choosing me.

Classes: $65 regular, $55 renewals, veterans, and women. Husband and wife combo multi-state $75, Wisconsin residents are all $50 plus for now. No refunds, just need to take a class from me at some time I think that is fair. If we refund and it is not our fault, we will pass all credit card charges on to you that is only fair.

Free AMMO! for the qualifying portion of the class. Limited to .22LR we also have .22LR handguns for you to borrow.

Bring the following items with you to class:

• Driver's License or State Picture ID
• Your current Permit to Carry if you are renewing
• Eye and Ear Protection
• Handgun and 50 rounds of NEW FACTORY ammunition. Reloads not allowed.
• Range Fee -- Range fees vary by location, so be prepared to pay up to $20
• Pen and paper if you would like to take notes

We will do classes at your location

We can accommodate you for a private class one or two people just about any hour of the day or night. This works well for people who have odd work schedules or busy life styles. If you need a private class in the middle of the night I can accommodate you.

Range Qualification Exercise * USING YOUR FIREARM AND AMMUNITION *

NO Loaded firearms or live ammunition is allowed in the classroom! Keep your firearms stored until the range portion of the course. Know the FOUR fundamental rules for gun safety prior to attending this class:

• KEEP the firearm pointed in safe direction;
• KEEP your finger off the trigger until told to fire;
• KEEP your firearm unloaded until you are ready to use it;
• KNOW your target and what’s beyond.

Joe,
Thanks for the class and the instruction using my PPK on Sunday. And, by the way, you friggin' blew me away with your fast draw and accurate shot placement. I was a shooter in the army and was never trained with a pistol (well not very well anyway), and I think the times are dictating that I become as proficient with a pistol as I am with a rifle.
